Gallup Panel study, and greater than two-thirds of staff members who agree that their supervisor focuses on their strengths are involved. The reality that 14% of European employees are engaged suggests that many European managers battle to do either. Firms that throw this pattern view interaction as a tactical concern. They acknowledge that the manager-employee relationship is the most crucial driver of interaction and natural growth, and they approach the task of boosting engagement with the same roughness, self-control, and dedication that they approach other service troubles.

Fortunately is that most of Europeans are disengaged yet not dissatisfied. They are resting on the sidelines, waiting to be motivated. They are winnable, and companies can repair this space by better equipping their supervisors with the knowing and growth they need to be much better people supervisors.
